Yeah, neither do I, but not everyone wants the TL;DR version, lol. I would not consider myself asexual. However, there has to be an emotional connection for me to even be interested in sex with another woman. I don’t have the same idea of what it means to be in a relationship/romance as other people do. I like my space, my own friends, having separate interests, etc. But, at the moment, I’m not interested in dating or finding anyone. I’m too busy focusing on my own goals to bother and I’m fine with that. I figure it’ll happen when it’ll happen.

My situation is pretty much like yours. I understand perfectly what it is to actually not be interested in anything or anyone. We both like our space and are too focused on personal goals to actually bother with relationships at the moment.

I really like them. My father owns a pawn shop and a few months ago, we actually managed to help find some guitars that were stolen from the set crew for BRMC. He had to testify in court on their behalf and everything. I was pretty slack-jawed after he told me about it. I would have loved to meet the band or something.

I love knitting. At first, I thought it was dumb or a waste of time, but it’s actually pretty relaxing. Plus, I love being able to handmake gifts for friends that isn’t strictly artwork.

That’s a wonderful reason to learn how to knit, indeed!

Not sure even where to start, I’m curious *probably going to look up stuff after a reblog this*. I guess my main question would be, does having Ankyloglossia in any way effect your normal body functions in a negative way or does everything function normally, it’s simply a ‘cosmetic’ difference?

Not at all! I got my lingual frenulum surgery a few minutes after I was born. It actually isn’t surgery at all, they just make a small cut on the tip to “free” the tongue from the unusual large frenulum. Ankyloglossia can become a problem if you don’t do anything about it, people actually have no excuse to live with it nowadays because the procedure is not painful and heals very quickly. Much like getting a piercing done. So no, it doesn’t affect me. I have a perfectly normal tongue aside from the tip being slightly split. :D

That’s… actually quite awesome… I don’t imagine myself ever doing that since I took Tae Kwon Do for my anger-management therapy, but it’s fascinating.

A Question For Me: Who are some of your personal heroes or who inspires you greatly to be a better person?

This will sound unbelievably simple and uninteresting, but my personal hero, the one that makes me want to become an amazing person, is my mother. She’s a force of nature! She’s so brave and strong and always sacrifices her well being for the sake of what she finds important that one day I hope to be 1/3 of the woman she is! She doesn’t take shit from anyone and speaks up whenever something is wrong/is unfair. She’s also very humane and is currently a nurse in a retirement house. I grew up looking up to her and still do.
